That shy little girl
That shy little girl
All alone in this world
Let words flow through her
Heart and Soul
Making her feel empty
And full of nothing
That shy little girl
In a dark room
Full of betrayal
Thinking about how her
Life will be like
When it is more independent
That shy little girl
Prayed to God saying,
"Please remove thy evil from thee."
All of a sudden,
She started losing people she loved.
That are unknown to her now.
It is like her mind has been erased
From the torture she had to face.
She used to hide her pain with a smile.
She never showed pain
She always had a way to cover up
The bruises and heartache
I wonder how her life is like now...
"Do not worry
For I am happy.
My mind has somewhat
Been erased
From whatever heartache
I have endored.
Do not worry
For I am a strong
Independent woman.
Out and about in this world.
Full of determintation.
I have never showed pain
I always cried on the inside
Never had to worry about people asking,
'Are you okay?'
I'm fine on the outside.
'Are you feeling okay?'
No. I'm pretty much dying on the inside.
But that was the old me.
I only show pain around
People I trust.
If not,
I disappear
Like a shadow
That wasn't even there.
That wasn't even suppose to be there.
You ask me how my like is for me now.
Do not worry
For I am free."
