An old woman
with flamboyant red hair,
a sun burnt body
and scarlet attire,
with skin thick and
overflowing confidence,
sits alone by a tree.
You'd her thick skin
is to keep her soft insides
from the weathering of society,
but really it's to prevent
the poison in her core
from entering the world.
