Myself

Here I am,

Workin' on myself

I don't care what you want from me anymore

Because I'm workin' on myself.

I realized through all the tears that you don't matter

I finally gave up and let go of you,

And all the bad things you made me feel

Finally, I'm workin' on myself

And maybe when you see me around

You'll call me out for being so distant,

But I'll tell you it's because I don't need you

And oh that might hurt you, but I'm workin' on myself

And you might see what time after time you did to me

Maybe you might feel some jealousy

To the fact that I can do what I believe

And I don't even think about you

I don't care anymore

I dropped everything about you

I've grown so much without you

And this might go straight to your butt

But I'm proud and grown

Into a soul I can call my own

Because without you I finally became myself.
