Let the children in,
I’m sure she would’ve
preferred to have them.
Let the children in,
their little giggles
and gentle whispers
slaughter the silence.
Let the children in,
for at some points of the
service a distraction
counts as relief.
Let the children in,
just because you’re
mourning for the dead,
doesn’t mean you can’t
appreciate the living.
Let the children in.
