Their time had gone
Standing tall as glaciers, proud as angels, white as a misty winters sky,
The flakey, once beautiful snowdrops stood, identical to the devil in desguise,
And as the harsh breeze swept over the blossoms burried roots,
The angels weakened and sundered below the icy blight.
Beneath the ice they settled limp and frail, searching hopelessly for bygone breath,
They wilted, desperation haunted their fragile lungs, as they gasped for air,
But as the harsh clouds covered the evening sky, it was too late for them,
Their time had gone.
