So End Light

Everyone says that monsters come out at night.
I don’t think so.
Monsters can come any time even when there’s light.
They destroy things in their path,
In a state of rage, feel their wrath.
When will these monsters be slayed?
A gallant hero coming to our aid.
Nobody’s coming.
Nobody for us.
We must do it ourselves.
Pick up the books! And spruce up the shelves!
So end light. End coarse tracks in odd nonsense spots.
We’ll live in the dark until the night monsters call the shots.-
