Growing
I grew to love you.
Your smile, your laugh, our endless conversations.
I grew to love things just as you do,
But as I was growing you were shrinking.
I was so focused on loving you, I didn’t noticed you stopped.
Calls got shorter, texts had no meaning,
The only time I saw you it really had no feeling.
Then staying up late was because the tears in my eyes stopped
?me from dreaming.
And the calls were made to tell me that while I was growing
you were shrinking
And suddenly, I wasn’t breathing.
