The Special One
Trotting, prancing, dancing mess.
With this stallion, who would bless?
Handler trampled, audience alarmed.
Who knew he wouldn't be harmed?
A prince of princes, smart and brave,
Yes, this horse, he would save.
A crowd had gathered,
His black coat lathered.
The King loved his son,
And what a horse to be won!
Though of his shadow his was afraid,
This young boy would come to his aid.
Speaking a few words, the prince mounted in the blink of an eye,
And toward the sun they seemed to fly.
As one being they went, as one motion,
This stallion's speed was a marvelous notion!
They rode together for years, battling their foes.
They perished by the sword where ever the stallion goes.
On his back, the new King is in all his glory,
And all throughout the land is murmured their story.
