Necessary Evil
Why do we lock our doors at night?
Because we are protecting ourselves from the evil that lies outside.
This evil lies within ourselves and in our sight.
Because evil will get you far in such a life, where money leaves scars and causes fright.
There is a necessary evil to survive this life.
We are born with it and keep it behind our locked doors at night.
Such a crime it is to break down that door but what if it means to end a war.
We notice the inevitable evil to survive although we fear the evil that lies outside. Behind that door we don't see the evil that lies inside us anymore.
