The Hole

People don’t get that
some of us want to actually be happy
But we just can’t get out of the hole
The hole that we are stuck in
The hole where everyone else is afraid of
The hole where others think we belong in
But they don’t know why we’re in that hole
And why we're never able to get out on our own
They don’t feel what we felt
All they feel is joy and never pain
They never have to feel pain
But we have and it’s tearing us apart
The hole is eating our souls
So we can never feel happy again
So that we can never be the way we were before
