I remember the night
I saw halos.
I remember seeing them
around every beautiful light source.
I remember the night
in warm air, the lights from your bedside.
I remember hearing them
your slow breaths as you were lulled to sleep.
I remember the night
you look at me.
I remember seeing them
i look at you
I remember the night
you were given a halo.
