Forever Yours
I remember screaming
Oh my god I love you
With scarlet water draining down perfect porcelain
I remember seeing dark eyes
With just a hint of exultant
As she grabbed your hand and walked away
I remember the sharp breath you took
When our eyes met once more, summers cloak around us
I remember
A galaxy we created afterword
our love stardust
in the new
The sun we both swallowed,
bursting from our fingertips
Escaping our pores
The cadence between our bodies
almost electric
Is that why I feel this verve every time you
touch me?
I watch as we spit once again in the face of dangerous
fate
You have trapped me between your claws
Hopeless prey
You don’t even know it
And I have no hope of release
So cloak me with your wings
My guardian angel
My love
You have no idea the scarifies I made for you
for
I remember screaming
Oh my god I love you
With scarlet water draining down perfect porcelain
Your name scarred into my heart
Burning my lungs
Forever yours
