Generation to remember

Old souls kept closed in a body of sight.
We erode like a mountain but still put up a fight.
The night keeps us in, church washes away our sins.
Different gods but same sun, but we all run when our time comes.
If we die in vain, will it leave a stain on the future that remains?
Stay calm says the father, it will be over soon.
The world filled with pollution and ego's that leave no room.
Our generation is one to remember.
