Read a book one thousand pages long
As sweet and well-written as a professional's song,
Imagine the difficulty to write this book,
Imagine all the time it took.
You love it, you think. The author must swell with pride!
You examine it from side to side.
You would like to congratulate who the author was-
But the book is signed "Anonymous".

Something fascinates me about anonymous work. I always wonder about the author's situation, where he or she lives, and why he or she would not take credit for his/her work. At the same time, however, the mystery that shrouds a book signed "Anonymous" makes me even more interested in the contents of that book.
