She wore her disappointment like a dress
Its okay she says
Her voice is soaked, like a sponge
Driping with disappointment
LOSER!
FAILURE!
Her eyes seem to scream
Appologies sputter to the surface
Silently you hold them down
Nail them to the bottom of your soul
Appologies won't save you now
"I didn't mean it" you want to say
"It was a mistake"
But that doesnt change anything
It still happened
No divine intervention can absolve you now
"It's fine" she says
But you can almost hear
The silent whispers from the back of her mind
FAILURE!
DISAPPOINTMENT!
ANGER.
They scream echoing into the dark abyss of you soul
You don't miss that her eyes never reach your face
Please you beg
And you never beg
Only for her
"this isn't necessary" she says
after a long pause
"I'm over it"
She wears her disappointment llike a dress
each seam like a bullet ricocheting in your heart
Her eyes glaze over as she looks at you
past you
Like you are nothing
