Ohana
Your heart beats to mine,
Your blood runs in mine.
Be it going up the vertical hill,
Or flying through the turbulence,
That familiar sense of warmth and love
Will always be as long as we are all together.
Tick, tock. Tick, tock.
We grow, mature from your source.
Till we have distributaries of our own.
The water shed now complete,
The water source almost dry.
You make me now the new source,
as you rise like water vapour up to heaven.
Whats left, me my distributaries and my tributaries.
Yet inside of me you still flow,
Dripping down from up there
continuing to run along after.
