Samuel
When the word "love" leaves my tongue
I feel nothing more than a vibration in my mouth
When the word "love" leaves my tongue and is directed at you--I feel everything
I feel the joy you give me from your jokes and kind words
I feel a high with the chills your smile gives me
I feel pain from when I had to leave you and as I dwell upon our last goodbye
I feel compassion for your situation and your family
I feel deep sorrow for the fact that I never told you any of this
I feel bitter regret and bountiful happiness at the thought of you
Not one person can bring such grief and such harmony to my heart and state of mind
I apologize for I know I am too late
I tell myself that you are nothing more than, but a mere lesson for actions I shall make in the future
Yet I wonder if that is the honest truth, for I think about you every single day
You run my thoughts when I awake
And cause insomnia for when I try to rest
Once again I am sorry, but it is not you I am apologizing towards
It is me
I have done myself a wrong by hindering my true happiness
This heartache is only known to exist in this poem
My heart yearns for you
My dreams scream for you
My hands are reaching out for you
I only wish that you find someone that makes you feel this way
Let me write this now, for it's to never be spoken
I love you Samuel with love as deep as the lowest of oceans
