It's my job to look after you
It's all I know how to do
You don't know I'm here
So you can't see my silent tear
To know that you've been hurt
By some cold, heartless jerk
Knowing I can't help as you walk by
Because you're unable to look me in the eye
To see your pain hurts me dearly
You can see this clearly
I'm as old as history
But no one loves you more than me
Don't try to keep it on the inside
From me you can't hide

This was kind of inspired by what people would feel if someone they loved was ever hurt. Whether people will get anythingg from it I don't know. I do hope that it will inspire someone to do something instead of just standing by and watching their friend be in pain.
