Final Moments
The world ends without a cloud in the sky, nothing is left except for a fly
It soars high without fear in its eyes, telling itself a lie
About how it will never die
It looks upon the hollow ground
The only sound
Its ever beating wings
The plants fried
The seas dried
And nature cried
But its tears were acid
It never wants to stop
It fears the drop,
but it must fall
Sinking through toxic air
pumped out long ago
when the world still had snow
The time has come for it to finally land
Embrace the glassed over sand
That long ago witnessed miniature suns
It says good-bye.
Breathing a sigh
to a world unaware
