Sunrise to sunset

The sun rises
stretching its rays
to touch the universe.
Ready to give
Warmth and energy
To all living organisms
Each sunrise,
a fresh beginning,
and a joyful start
To a new day.

With its daily job done,
daylight departs
into sunset.
The moon begins
to takes its place
in the evening sky.
We wait for sunrise
to begin another day.
