I'm wrapped up.
Tightly wound around a life that I can't have,
A life that will start when I'm free
of obligations
and tedious affairs.
Pictures take me back.
Back to when I was carefree,
A little girl dreaming about fairies
And only worrying daily,
Not hourly.
But I'm afraid that life is a myth.
I'll die
still waiting
For something to change.
