I take a deep breath, and leap into the pool.
Bubbles of air surround me as I slide into the water
Enveloped by its cool, calming nature
I dive deeper and stretch out my hands as I touch the bottom.

It is not a stone bottom, but sand
I drift through the water
deeper than ever before
and see miles upon miles of bright, brilliant coral
Suddenly I am surrounded by laid back, easy going dolphins.
Above me, playful sea otters swim in the refreshing water.
As I move on, a cautious, watchful crab appears
scurrying about my feet.

As I run out of air,
I make my ascent to the surface.
I know what is waiting,
Laid back parents,
Playful children,
and a cautious lifeguard.
