Young like a seed you spring
Heart like a mother you love
Eyes like the sun you warm
Me
Tree tall and tree free
You dance like camp fire
And my bones are burned by you
Gentle like aloe vera, cool
Sad like dark caves, pick axes strike too hard
Do you hear your name echo in mines
My voice
I don’t sound like you
Rich like a dragon
Can you crush my flesh and fur
Or are you breathing hot embers on me
Either way I’ll die with you
You
Fear like a star, soar
Love like a wolf, devoured
Scars like a puppy, I want to touch
Dead like a God, rise again
Don’t crave power because power means responsibility
And you’re not Spiderman you’re glory
And glory is whatever you want to do
Pride, prejudice, sense, sensibility
I’m not Jane Austen so leave me lone
Some
Beat like a bass drop your past
Live like me and dance because it is tribal
And you are a warrior so fight
Fight like a life, beautiful
Why are you holding me I’m needles
Don’t I hurt?
Sadist like an unnamed bride, kill bill
Or roll joy, it tastes good I promise
Promise
Not joint, joy
It lasts longer to have one piece of glee
Then pounds of weed
Don’t believe me
Look at me and you will
Smile like a pearl, white and lustful
Sleep like a season is in bliss
Winter is over now, bear climb out
Smell the flowers with me
