A Friend's Trust

Once I told Jasmine that
“David never cheated on her”
She fell more in love with him.
Jasmine trust me with everything
She feels that I won’t be exposing
I should have not lied, but if I told
The truth she would have died.
I caught David cheating again
I feel like he doesn’t care. I
Looked at him with a long stare.
As he walks with his beloved
I pulled him aside and told him I
Was disgusted. “Don’t you know
You’ll lose Jasmine forever?”
He states “I would never do it again”.
I sit and look as all his lies spins.
