Liberation
Barbwire gleams in the hot sunlight
Treading on, we walk to our own death
They prod us like cattle
We are nothing to them
Work will set you free they saay
But we know the reality
Grace cloaks their lies
There is no truth to their words
Sent straight to the showers
We follow in the footsteps of the guards
Leading us up,
The building looms ahead
Hope that once blazed in my soul,
has reduced to a subtle flame
Packing, placing, and pushing
We're shoved into the room
The door slams,
Gas pours out
Gasping, my breath runs away
Light fades out
Now wher I am,
all cruelity is gone
Everyone is accepted
I am finally free.
