That One Thing
The only thing I really think about will remain anonymous
The way it made me feel was amazing
Everything it ever said keeps playing in my head like a broken record
Thinking Out Loud
Keeps on being sung in my head to cover up my thoughts of it
Everyone can hear what I’m thinking
It’s so loud in here I just need to break out
Why won’t my mouth let me say the words i am dying to say
They lay so heavy in my bedamned heart
My tongue cannot move
It lays there as stiff as a board
Lame and useless
How can something so simple as thoughts take over me
How does this keep happening
I get lost in my mind at night wondering if it would reply
It did but I lost the moment to reply back
I fell asleep too soon
Lost the moments to answer when it listens
Then again lost the moment to make something of it before it was destroyed
Took everything it said and did to heart
Let it destroy me and then again build me up
Again and again
Power and weakness
One in the same
It holds the power to becoming my only weakness
My obsession and my destruction
It will be difficult to move on
Will I ever, I wonder
When it leaves I will not have the heart to ever live in my thoughts again
