How do I begin
to write these scorching words-
which even my knowing heart
can't quite comprehend?
I feel this burning agony
but don't know where the pain comes from.
How can I heal
when I don't know where to begin?
I feel like I have questions
I know the answers to-
but somehow they just
aren't good enough for me.
I am in a crowded street-
and yet I stand alone.
The words create their own story in my head-
and yet the page is blank.
