Like a Lion
A lion
King of the jungle
Fierce
Courageous
Always ready to lead
Brings others along
Lifts them up
teaches them
Although
it’s not the biggest animal
of the jungle
but it might have the biggest heart
yet leaders come in all sizes
just like mine
She’s 4’11”
small but big inside
Big Heart
bigger mind
A great teacher
but a better maestra
Leaders are courageous
And you don’t have to be the tallest
to be the biggest

My Inspiration: My inspiration for this piece was my Student Leadership teacher at my school, she displays various acts of Leadership qualities on a daily basis, while being 4'11" herself, showcases that the biggest animal of the jungle isn't the biggest leader.
