Broken
She acts tough
She looks tough
But is she?
It’s not her
She talks the talk
She walks the walk
She puts up a fight
But is she right?
It’s not her
Blocked out emotions;
weary eyes;
Tired soul
That’s what they see
That’s what she feels
It’s not her
She can do what she wants
Do what she pleases;
But I see
I can just look, and know;
It’s not her
Everyone falls for the act
But not me, not now
She looks me in the eye
I can see her break
She puts the wall back up
She walks away
They see tough
I don’t
I see broken

I know a person who always keeps it in and hides from her trueself and I had to get it out of me, so I made it into a poem.
