She said she broke everything she touched
but she didn't care when she
reached for my hand for the first time.
She said she broke everything she touched
but it didn't matter when she
traced her fingers up my spine.
She said she broke everything she touched
and she couldn't change if she tried.
She said her heart was ready this time,
I listened to her.
Now I'm stuck picking up the pieces of mine.
