The Not So Hooperific Dog
Once upon a time there was a dog more specifically a white, shiny, healthy poodle...skuuuuurt. She was a white poodle with white curly hair with actually no shine whatsoever and she has the traits of being really boring and over confident. There was nothing interesting about her besides the fact that she was really smart when she put the time and effort.
She was training for this hula hoop contest that if she won she would be considered an adult dog. This contest was really important for her to win because all her siblings in the past had past this.
“Mom I got this, I know what I’m doing and all the tricks that need to be done,” The Dog said to her mother.
“Okay you better be working hard and practicing all the time,” The mom replied to the Dog.
With all this pressure on the dog she didn’t bother practicing at all and still remained doing nothing but just chilling around.
“ LETS GO YOU NEED TO PRACTICE WE CAN’T LOSE THIS!!!” The dogs mother screamed.”
Still nothing from the dog and she only has a day and a half to practice but still she did nothing and didn’t put any effort to try and do anything. Her mother was counting on her to not break the family record but it seemed to be that she most likely was. She knew she couldn’t fail her family and she wanted to put the effort in but she was just too confident.
“ Mom don’t worry I’m going to pass this like nothing because there's no worry.” Dog said.
It is currently competition day and the dog is way too confident and the mom is nervous and worried. She has never been more nervous in her entire life for any other child of hers.
At this moment the first stunt is happening and already, the dog has not done well because she missed the hula hoop.Next, it is the second round and already the dog started of slow, but she made it through one hoop she didn’t make it through the other three.
Competition day is over and she has lost which is a huge disappointment. Now she has learned that whatever effort is put in is the effort that you get out of it.
Moral: The more you put in the more you get in the less you put in the less you get out.
