Reasons for trust issues
I keep my mouth shut
“No thank you I’m fine.”
I don’t trust that they won’t judge me
I allow my fear to control me
They might leave
They might tell
They might
Nothing’s been set in stone and yet…
And yet I’m scared
I'm scared to allow myself to think that I can trust people
Because I'm scared they’ll break it soon enough
I must be as solicitous as I can
So they don’t have anything to talk about.
