The Life Beyond What You See
Listen.
Not just with one ear but both.
Listen to the things that don’t seem to matter,
the birds chirping,
the wind blowing.
Listen to the wind chimes ring,
as they aggressively smack one another.
Listen to the bee as it buzzes about the flowers.
Now look.
Look at the thick green grass.
Look at the millions of colors brightening the atmosphere.
Look as the sun creates a rainbow of colors in the sky.
It’s as if the earth is speaking to you,
the trees reaching for your attention.
The wind whispers secrets in your ear
as the flowers fill your nose with happiness.
The simplest things suddenly become so intricate,
so adventurous.
All of this beautiful and amazing land is free
and filled with opportunity.
Feel the sun as it warms your skin.
Watch the animals as they warm your heart.
All of this could permanently be yours,
if you just open your eyes.
See past your everyday life and look,
really look.
And once you do that, you will see the unseen.
