Your world is held within your heart
With a single cut it could fall apart
In a world so cold it almost froze
So gentle and harmless like a wilting rose

The saddest times are when it starts to rain
Because that's when the sky is filled with pain
I envy the sky and its child like fear
Because unlike me it can shed a tear

Was warm, now cold
Now hollow, once bold
The lush grassy plains are now rows or sand
They're dry and decrepit, just like these two hands

My golden heart has turned to coal
My biggest dreams, now forgotten goals
Surrounded by pain that none can see
I want to find tears but tears can’t find me.

I miss those days where I could see through the mist
And I didn't have scars across my fist
Oh god please help me before I die
Please shed me a tear, just let me cry
