Its Complicated

We might have not been a lot of things
but the one thing we were was important.
You matter to me
more than I can admit.
I won't say I love you
because to love I feel I have to have seen you face to face
or even heard your voice
but I know one thing, you matter.
I hope I matter to you as well.
I hope that picture is still with you
because as long as it is then it is where it is meant to be.
Who knew by admiring the girl in the picture
you would bring us both so much.
