Gray Skies
The sky cries as the angels weep their song,
For a soul of a child is gone.
The birds do not sing their joyful sound,
for they too, mourn for the loss.
The trees lay still in the darken sky,
not singing their song of love and joy.
A mother weeps, and a father mourns,
for their child is laying in the casket,
dressed in silk and a peaceful look,
their skin gray and their hair disheveled,
lips slightly parted in a prayer against evil.
May this child rest in peace,
in the hearts of those he loves,
May his heart be forever alive,
Even if his body has died...
