A beautiful rose
Tinted with pride
Dripping with wonder
Countless eyes fall upon the gem
All taken in awe
But one eye
Stumbles not upon the flower
But instead a leaf
Green and magnificent
Humbly exquisite
Because you see
It is so ordinary
To love the beautiful
But it is so much more beautiful
To love the ordinary
