One monster fish
There was only one who saw the fish. I am the only one fishing for him. One monster fish was tall and skinny like me. Three boats that do not have a fishing licence that should leave but are here. There are three lines in the water and my dad is yelling to these folks about how they got a fish.
The line is about to snap. I am signaling to my dad to get the net. The fish is jerking the line going back and forth. My dad tries to grab the line between his dirty and calloused hands. He tries to grab it with his fishing net and he screams in joy when he sees it because he knows he has a monster on the hook.
When we finally get the fish up, it is a 69 inch musky. We were all screaming in joy like little kids at recess. Each of our smiles were getting bigger as they took more pictures.Click, click, click of us.They all took pictures of the monster we had just reeled in.
When I am feeling blue and things don’t seem to be going my way, I keep on fishing. When there is nothing left to fish for, I keep on fishing. One monster fish goes back into the lake. One monster fish doesn't forget how to swim. The fisher who is out there hoping to reel in the catch of a lifetime.
