When he plays the guitar,
I swear,
It creates a bubble of melodic silence around us
And the air tastes of harmony.
The chords buzzing in my body
Paint colors that I have never seen before
And my eyes lock with his,
Our hearts connected by the steel strings of the guitar.
They will ripple and even pop,
But my musician has a sharp ear
And can always tune our guitar.
For our love
Can never be stifled.
