Pushing Daisies
She was incomplete.
The sting of alcohol turned into her refuge,
And every bitter man became her meaningless lover.
She was hollow.
The hole in her heart she needed to fill;
She poured arsenic and empty words into it,
Hoping that one day she would flower.
She was lost.
Temptation led her deeper into the tunnel,
Away from the daylight
And her soul was swallowed by the thick gloom.
She was a withering daisy,
Decaying more and more each second.

My best friend and I have become astranged due to her naive choices, such as experimenting with alcohol and scummy boys. I just wish she would surround herself with knowledge and love rather than destruction and drugs. I miss her.
