Giver
She is a giver
The positive one
Always able to see the bright side
A smile here
A compliment there
Anything to make someone happy
All she wanted
Was to be someone’s sunshine
Because nobody was ever her’s
Slowly, for every smile she gave someone else
One less appeared upon her face
Bit by bit, the mask,
Which hid a broken girl,
Was chiseled away
To reveal her true identity
The lonely girl
Who’s fault was giving too much
Giving, giving, giving
Until she had nothing left
