You think you can do anything from verbally to physically and shove me to the side knowing that you’re pushing the pain of reality into me and hurting me mentally. You are forcing what you make the truth to be into the minds of a school social community. Face it, you are an enemy to a person trying to fit into an official school society. Just by using the so called benefits of popularity to get through the ranks in an invisible competition just to get a mental reaction. You think you can do everything even anything just to meet your satisfaction. Well think again. Each day you see me pacing with my body trembling and my mind racing. Thinking of what is, what was, and what will be. This is filling my mind with thoughts of what I should do and should I live. With every thought of having choices but not seeing any and sitting there in everybody’s faces that never invited me.

The novel 'Thirteen Reasons Why' by Bebra Wiseman and Jay Asher inspired this poem. What I want people to take away fromt this poem is that people should stop using their popularity benefits over other less populary people for the wrong reasons. I want people to lend a hand to those with low self-esteem.
