Faith
The black tunnel could've passed for a black hole.
Never ending and never bright.
"It's going to get better," they said.
Better was never coming.
"Have faith, God knows you can do it," I was told.
He thinks I can get out of this hole?
They've got to be joking.
This is never ending.
Skeptical, stressed, not knowing what's next.
I knelt beside my bed,
I let God hear what was in my head.
God heard what I said.
The sun shown through the blackness of the tunnel.
It wasn't just a little ray.
I finally saw the light of day.
"You got through it, I knew you could," they said.
The dark tunnel came to and end.
Bright days were here to stay,
