A Little Bend
Sitting back looking at the clouds
getting overwhelmed in the crowds
Realizing how much I feel alone
not hearing anyone’s thoughts but my own
Going crazy on the inside
wanting to run away and hide
Looking for ways to escape
people trying to find ways to relate
No one seems to help
and all I can do is yelp
Crazy how a single action
has a million different reactions
Looking for a place to fit in
where I don’t get judged for where I’ve been
But judge me for where I want to go
just trying to be the average joe
So I just lay here and think
trying to tell myself not to blink
The world’s not coming to an end
we’re just at a little bend
