The leaves fall, but then they rot

Buried in snow, by the parking lot

 

Orange to white

Chilled night

 

Hands get rough

Roads get tough

 

But one day you wake,

And you are on the lake,

 

Sun warm on your skin

It will happen again.


The author's comments:

it talks about seasons changing.I was sick of winter and wanted it to be warm outside.
