The oppression is real,
The trials are hard,
Yet it may seem like no one understands,
The cuts or brokenness.
There is someone.
For even though things may seem glum right now, there will be a better time.
While I live my blood runs red through my veins,
As red as a tropical sunset,
No one understands the ice on my heart,
Oh but that is contrary!
For we think that no one cares,
But that is the LIE OF THE BEAST,
While life throws trouble,
All these issues we may have,
Depression, substance Abuse, anger, aggression.
They are thrown at us just to make us stronger,
For the streams of the jungle run smooth and calm,
Like that of a lazy river.
Taking time to be calm and relax.
As should we learn from that to take learn to be calm.
For without that, life gets hectic,
And unawareness takes us by surprise.
