Why Try?

Layed out and broken,
my heart is choking,
As I drew near, you began to fear,
I need a beer, to open up enough to fear,
slipping ever deeper into dispair,
do my parents even care?
A girl give me a glance,
my heart begins to prance,
I found out about the note,
my heart is broke,
In all corners enemies lie,
none willing to hear my alibi,
so scared and tried,
I'm tempted to cry,
Why try?
