Too Late
A kiss of metal on her chest
Spinning, splitting, tearing
Her body a limp doll
Shaking
She waits
Sirens in the background
Red,
Flashing, flowing, draining
From her
She waits
Coldness suffocates her
Gasping, choking, struggling
Hands cover her
Tending to her wounds
She waits
Hurry, he shouts
Too many cars too many
Minutes
Passing, flying, ending
She cannot wait
No longer does she gasp
No longer does her Red drain
Minutes end
The Doctor waits
Preparing to play with
His pale, still doll
He waits
