Tree of LIfe

We were together as one
Through thick and thin
Through the good and bad times
Like a shadow, you were always there
But disappeared at a touch.

We were connected like branches of a tree
Like darkness needs light, we needed each other
Sad, silent, still the way you left us.
We were a family, connected and together are a part of
something big.
Like a seed, we started small and began to grow.

Though hard times come over us and like a tree we start to die down.
But when the sun shines, the stronger and brighter we become.

Together we became a tree of life.
In order to grow tall and strong, we must first go through hard times.
The leaves of a tree may fade but they are brighter than ever, once the sun comes out.
The tree seems to whisper, together as a family nothing can break us up or make us fade.
