Longing is a guitar
still humming moments after a touch
Wishing for another strum
from your rough finger tips
Even though you don't play
too well
it's still hoping to be held
only by you
Waiting for the next opportunity
to be picked back up into your arms again
because the sounds you produce
reflect upon how it feels after being used-
Beautiful.
Where would that guitar be without you?
Still longing
